Australian maritime security arrangements mean that anyone working at, or accessing, certain areas at the Port of Melbourne must apply for a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC).
An MSIC must be displayed if working unmonitored or unescorted within a maritime security zone. Without one, people will not be able to work unmonitored or unescorted within those zones.
